So it's getting a lot colder up here D: idk why but my room is freezing.

I've also managed to recruit more people into our MGS cosplay group C: So far we have a Boss, Young!Ocelot, Raiden, Rosemary, Raikov and Sniper Wolf :3

It's just too bad that all the characters you actually see are either manly men with bulging muscles and facial hair, or women with cleavage running down to their belt :C
Or there's the BB corps. I'm not touching that.

So I've been dead for quite a while. Ah.
Things are going great and horrible at the same time, so I'm living a balanced life of sorts, I guess xD I'm having fun doing other things while trying to get out of the wonderful art block that I am having >_>; it's almost like the pictures don't want to be drawn. (Fan man is halfway through~ though I've got to figure out how to make Flash work with my laptop OTL)

And just a reminder - OCT CONTESTANTS! You have until the end of this month to hand in a reference sheet plus an entry comic.

However.

Shou

1. Actually I don't know. I was thinking of random Japanese names that sound good, without making up some sort of ridiculous Stu name DDDD:
2. He was for another story that I was planning for our comics club.
3. Uh. He went from a fading angel thing to a gunslinging chef, gained two younger brothers along with a cat, a dog, and a rabbit. He gained several hobbies including baking cute sweets and watching romantic movies and practicing his marksmanship. He's also gotten secretly engaged to a coworker....and he spontaneously aged about twelve years....lllOTL
4. He does all the housework, and he's very stoic but very silly around his girlfriend.


Hans

1. I wanted to give a German name to a character 8D that's all (my names really don't have much meaning behind them)
2. He started as this other character for another story for my comics club after I scrapped the one with Shou in it (this story got scrapped too but I might draw it out for fun). He wasn't supposed to be Shou's brother but they looked too similar to pass up the opportunity~
3. He didn't really change, besides the fact that he made a career switch to a florist. And he picked up a seemingly abandoned bunny from the street after falling for its cute looks on a rainy day.
4. The very first version of Hans had a five-year-old advisor and a loli war general, plus a half-plant pacifist court magician who was bffs with a flying, reanimated corpse...dead...mailman thing with a candle burning on his head (not quite a corpse, really. More like he was in the process of ascending to heaven when he got resurrected).


Chris

1. I think he was the first character to whom I gave a normal name (the other people have typical fantasy names).
2. He was an unplanned child. Meaning, of course, that he was a random design floating around~~ he somehow made his way into FOA and into Shou's family.
3. He's become a lot nicer than his AU self (which would be the FOA Chris, with the original personality), he doesn't use his guitar to fight, and he's studying to become a surgeon~ he's also gained another hobby of video gaming, though he doesn't have much time for it.
4. He was a very happy person but after an incident where he gave in to his curiosity (in the FOA-Chris sense), things started going downhill. He hasn't quite hit rock bottom yet, though.


Hana

1. I wanted her to be as normal as possible? But I didn't want to name her Hannah.
2. Since my other pairing in my legion of 50-something OCs is one-sided, I thought I might as well as give someone an actual spouse/fiance(e)/whatever~
3. I planned her to be a stick, but then she looked strange as a waitress so I made her curvy (I enjoyed drawing her more, too, after that change)
4. Her full name is Hana Penelope Lovecraft. She has appropriate tastes that fit her name. Which means that every time she and Shou have movie night, the traditional "guy gets girl to watch horror movie so that he can hold her" becomes "girl eventually ends up in a bear-hug as the guy desperately needs something to cuddle".



Revolver Ocelot tags 6 people, only because he has six bullets.
Solidus Snake taps 4 people with his four arms.
Raiden realizes that he has no arms and goes to emo in a corner.
Liquid Snake merrily prances around on the handrails and falls off onto a faceless guard, more or less tagging one person.
Otacon hides in a locker.
Solid Snake tags...everyone, after equipping the infinite ammo bandanna. (Which makes Liquid very angry and sends him on a quiche rant)

How was your week?

Ahh. It was pretty good, even if it mostly consisted of hoboing around the Dealer's Room~
~Control-Zed got Mr. Downes' autograph plus a picture 8D but then again Mr. Nimoy was horribly expensive. Aww ._.

There were a lot of awesome cosplayers but I think the one that stood out the most was Naked Snake 8D Except I couldn't tell because he wasn't wearing his eyepatch, but I found him wearing it later on~
There was also a very nice Sniper Wolf, not to mention the super-awesome Haseo cosplayer, and the only Rip van Winkle I found.
And that KH group with...maybe 10 keyblades D: plus that awesome Aqua and Ven (Where's Terra? D: )

And the numerous Darth Vaders and the numerous Stormtroopers.




School starts in a couple of days but I don't mind~ after all, first period IS computer arts.

-They started airing Star Trek again. 60's graphics are awesomely hilarious, even if it's unintentional. _{I really want to see the episode where Spock gets a girlfriend and beats up Kirk in the Enterprise}
-I am getting to be horrible at comics. Like, very very horrible. So I'm going to animate them-*shotshotshot*
-Keychains are getting horrible too. Like...really, not chibi at all (they weren't supposed to be, but I can't get the idea of chibi=keychains out of my head)
-Will someone please explain to me the basic workings of Halo world/personality of Chief? After reading it up some all I've gathered is that it's an FPS game, Cortana is awesome and MC has brown hair.
-, did you want Russia x Vietnam, or Generic Army Men?

-I hear it's amazing when the famous purple stuffed worm in flapjaw space with a tuning fork does a raw blink in hara-kiri-rock.
